  Q: How do I earn Gold Crown Club International points?

A: Each time you stay at a Best Western hotel at a qualifying rate, you'll earn 10 points for each U.S. dollar (or the equivalent in other currencies) you spend on your room rate excluding tax. Points can also be earned with various Gold Crown Club International partners.

  Q: What are qualifying rates?
A: All rates qualify for except for the following: Priceline, Manager's Special, Allstate, Employee Discount, FIT, Free Night Awards/Vouchers, Leisure Club, Travel Agent Discount, Group, Wholesale, Tours, Unit Travel Card, Internet Only Rate and other hotel negotiated rates.

  Q: How can I spend my points?
A: Gold Crown Club International points can be used for a variety of awards, including free room nights, Best Western Travel Cards, airline miles and gift cards for shopping, dining and entertainment.

  Q: When do points expire?
A: Effective March 1, 2006 Best Western International will no longer expire Gold Crown Club International points.

  Q: How do I earn miles?
A: You can choose to earn 250 miles per stay with a number of global airline partners. To earn airline miles with one of these partners, select an airline as your earning preference and include your frequent flyer number in your member profile. At hotel check-in, be sure to let the front desk know the airline to which you would like your airline miles credited.

  Q: How long does it take for points or miles to post to my account?
A: It takes up to 14 days for points to post to your account. Miles can take up to three statement cycles to post to your airline account. Be sure to show your card upon check-in and check out to help expedite posting of points or miles.
If you have stayed at a Best Western and would like to inquire about points or airline miles that have not posted to your account, contact Customer Service.

A: You can access your up-to-date account information online at all times. To access your account online, you will need to create a password and statement mailings.

  Q: Can I receive both frequent flyer miles and Gold Crown Club International points for a stay?
Best Western hotels are not required to issue points and miles for the same stay. Your designated earning preference (points or miles) will be credited accordingly with each stay.

  Q: Can I receive points if I pay for my stay with a Best Western Travel Card?
A: Yes, you will earn points or miles when you pay with a Best Western Travel Card as long as you stay at a qualified rate. However, you can't earn points or miles when using a Best Western Unit Travel Card.

A: Best Western hotels are not required to issue points for more than one room booked by the same member for the same night.

When you transfer your membership, you will receive a new membership card with your original Gold Crown Club International account number.
